Thread: Frequency input on CR2016

    Default Frequency input on CR2016

The CR2016 lists a maximum detectable input frequency of 2kHz.

If a signal (rail-to-rail square wave) larger than 2kHz (up to nearly 3kHz) is applied, does the controller still report 2kHz? I'm not concerned about the actual signal so much as I'm just looking for 'is this speed faster or slower than a setpoint' where the setpoint happens to be 2kHz.

The input reads Periods, in microseconds. If its too fast it won't read any value.
