    Simply setting up network variables will not necessarily work. The would need to be in the proper format that is being sent by the sensor. You must then set the network variable type to UDP and then set the port number, IP broadcast settings for the variable list. (After you select the object properties of the network variable you must select UDP for network type. Then press the settings button to enter the port number (1202 is a good one) and the IP broadcast address.

    This may not work with the sensor you are using. You may have to use send/receive blocks for ethernet.
