Thread: Red "X" on CR0451 Display

Default Red "X" on CR0451 Display

I think I may have solved my own problem but I want to confirm it here too. If all you seen on a display after loading a background bitmap is a giant red "x", does that indicate the image is larger than the display area? I've been fighting this all weekend and then I realized my source image had increased by 3 pixels width and height. It was an "outline" function in CorelDraw that I had somehow missed. Everything looked great in CodeSys but wouldn't display on the CR0451. As soon as I uploaded a true 320 x 240 version of the image it all worked fine.

So... giant red "x" = image too large? Or, are there some other instances I might see that? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll file that one away for the future.
