Default PC to Cr0200 comm using PEAK adapter

Is it possible to use a PEAK CAN/USB adapter with a Cr0200 for PC communications? If so, can anyone please provide both Downloader & CoDeSys application comm set-up info details? Thanks.

    Hi cvrettacos,
Yes you can use the PCAN-USB (if this is the one you have) with both Download & CoDeSys V2.3.

    Settings:
Download: CAN Board Type -> select 'PCAN_USB'
CoDeSys: In Communication settings, CAN Card driver should be set to 'Peak_USB'

    Good luck!

Yes it's possible to use the PCAN-USB for both Downloader and CoDeSys

    Settings:
Download: Interface -> CAN -> CAN board type -> PCAN_USB
CoDeSys: Communication Parameters -> CAN Card Driver -> Peak_USB

    Good luck

    Erik,
Thanks. That's the route I was trying to take. I'll double check my settings. Should the Download-ID should match the controller's Node-ID in it's CAN Parameters in the PLC configuration?

    Chris,

It should be 127 or 30. I can't remember off hand for the CR0200. If you connect the first time with RS232 you can add the FB CANx_DOWNLOADID so that you know exactly what the download ID is.

In the past the 16 bits were received with Download ID of 32 and the 32bit were received with download ID 127. This might have changed due to the version of OS that is installed in the 16 bit, V4, V5, V6.
